The Grammys and the press both highly appreciate J-Hope and his new solo product.
With a bold direction as a solo artist, J-Hope is earning invaluable respect from industry leaders and directing the global music scene.
Recently, the Grammy Awards put J-Hope’s upcoming album Jack in the Box on the list of 10 must-listen albums in July 2022, alongside Beyonce, Lizzo and Burna Boy.
The Grammy winners wrote: “Learning music through dancing, this performer has always been original and bright, and this album is sure to showcase his musical maturity over the years. J-Hope will show the world his own taste as a solo artist. He made history as the first Korean artist to stand on the main stage of a major music festival in the US with his highly anticipated performance at Lollapalooza 2022 later this month. With so many achievements, J-Hope will definitely release an album not to be missed in 2022, Jack in the Box.”
In addition to the Grammy Award, many prestigious music magazines have also recognized the artistry of J-Hope’s recent work, proving his value and position.
On their own accounts, music journalists Tetris Kelly (Billboard), Mary Siroky (Consequence) and Jae Ha Kim (Rolling Stone, Chicago Tribune and Teen Vogue) praised J-Hope’s versatility and maturity.
‘More’ also became a big trading company. As of July 4, the song remains at the top of the iTunes World Songs chart for three consecutive days.
On Spotify, More debuted at No.9 of the Daily Global Chart, the highest debut position for a Korean solo artist, and currently holds No.18. More also made J-Hope the only Asian solo artist to enter The Official Charts – the UK’s official chart.
With such great recognition from both the audience and professionals, especially from the Grammy, J-Hope’s chances of being nominated for a Grammy are very high! Meanwhile, Jack in the Box will release this July 15.
