After 9 years of trial and error, BTS is starting a new show in their career.
During BTS’ annual FESTA dinner, the members talked about their time together.
They share memories of the past and update fans with their future plans.
For years, BTS has focused on producing work as a group but now they’re branching out into solo activities, at least for a while.
According to J-Hope, this change is what the members need at this point in their lives.
Don’t panic. The discontinuation of this group is not the end for BTS. It is a rebirth. For Jungkook, this change is all about timing.
“Today, I realized again that everyone has a timeline that works for them.
ARMYs also have their own motivations and timing. The time should have come to us earlier, but we delayed it. Now we have to do it,” Jungkook said.
The other members couldn’t resist interrupting Jungkook’s explanation to express their love for the “maknae”.
When they met Golden Maknae, he was a shy kid from Busan with big dreams. He grew up right before their eyes.
Jungkook shared his thoughts on BTS’s break from group activities, asking for ARMY’s understanding and blessings.
“I don’t know when but there should have been a time when we talked about this. And I think that’s today.
How should I set this? You’ve been with us for almost… let’s say 10 years.
You guys have been with us for 10 years. Not that we want you to understand, but it would be great if you could understand us.
Each of us will take some time to have fun and experience many things.
We promise we’ll come back one day even more mature than we are now.
So I just hope that you can give us your blessings. That’s what I hope. I will do my best,” said Jungkook.
When Jungkook finished, Jin sweetly patted his hoodie. Suga said, “Jungkook is all grown up now” as if he still couldn’t believe it.
Jungkook has promised ARMY that this second chapter, a new adventure, will be of the utmost interest.
“We will be a better version of ourselves. I firmly believe in that. So I hope you won’t worry. Even better, look forward to that day. I will do my best” – Jungkook.
Once again, Suga couldn’t help but praise BTS’s wise and mature maknae, saying, “Jungkook has grown up.”
Yes, that’s right!
